Privacy policy
Last updated: November 8, 2026
This policy covers two Chrome extensions designed by Mohammed Bahaauddin: BAHAA AGENCY ADS and Bahaa's Story Tool.
In short: Neither extension collects any data about you, and no server of mine receives anything. What you choose is sent directly to Google Gemini with your own key, and everything else stays on your device.
Common to both extensions
- Your Gemini API key is stored in the extension's storage in your browser (
chrome.storage.local), and is never sent anywhere except Google. - When you click generate or analyze, the extension sends the text or image you chose, along with the writing instructions, directly to Google Gemini (
generativelanguage.googleapis.com). Google handles it according to the Google Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms. - No usage analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no selling or sharing of data with anyone.
- You can delete all data from inside the extension, or by removing the extension from your browser.
BAHAA AGENCY ADS
- On your device: history, saved projects and settings, and the last image you picked along with its page title and URL.
- Website access: so the “BAHAA ADS” button can appear over images, and so the extension can load the image you picked. The button doesn't read or send anything unless you click it, and the extension doesn't read page content or record the sites you visit.
- Other permissions: storage, the right-click menu (contextMenus), and the side panel (sidePanel).
Bahaa's Story Tool
- On your device: projects (ideas, stories, characters and scenes), the character library, and the reference and scene images you upload. That's why the extension requests unlimited storage (unlimitedStorage).
- Sent to Gemini: the project data each request needs, and the image when you ask it to “write the description from the image” or “write the video prompt from the image”.
- Website access is optional: the extension doesn't run inside any page. It asks for a site's permission only when you send an image from it with right-click, and only to load that image.
- Other permissions: storage, the right-click menu (contextMenus), and the side panel (sidePanel).
